Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Padel Dorset Expo is organised by Padel Dorado (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through padeldorsetexpo.co.uk, why, and what your rights are. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Padel Dorado, organiser of Padel Dorset Expo. Website: https://padeldorsetexpo.co.uk. Email: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Stand enquiries. If you use the enquiry form on the Exhibit page we collect your name, company, email, phone number and the details you give us about your stand. We use this to respond to you, hold a stand and invoice a deposit. Legal basis: taking steps before entering into a contract.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name, so we can send you news about the expo. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Email. If you email us we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your query.
- Website analytics and cookies. See the cookies section below.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. When you buy a ticket, Eventbrite collects your details under its own privacy policy (eventbrite.co.uk/l/privacy-policy). Eventbrite shares attendee names and email addresses with us so we can run the event, check you in and contact you about it.
Who we share data with
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) sends our newsletters and website emails and stores subscriber lists.
- Eventbrite handles ticketing and payment.
- Cloudflare protects and speeds up the website and may process your IP address to do so.
- Our web host stores the website and its database.
- Exhibitors. We do not give exhibitors your personal data. Anything you hand to an exhibitor at the event is between you and them.
We do not sell personal data. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Stand enquiries and exhibitor records: until the end of the following edition of the expo, then deleted, except invoices which we keep for 6 years for tax purposes.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or 2 years after the last edition you showed interest in.
- Attendee lists from Eventbrite: deleted within 12 months of the event.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work (for example, the cookie that remembers you have dismissed the cookie notice). If we add analytics cookies we will ask for your consent first through the cookie banner. Embedded content, such as the Google Map on our Tickets and Contact pages, may set its own cookies as if you had visited that site directly.
Your rights
You can ask us to provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Photography at the event
Photos and video will be taken at the expo for use on this website and our social media. Signs at the venue will say so. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of the team on the day or email us within 7 days of the event and we will make sure you are not included. You can ask us to remove an image you are identifiable in at any time after that too, but by then it may already have been published or shared.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the date at the top.
